Hivportalen is an information centre on the Internet for those who work on HIV prevention and other sexually transmitted infections, STI, in Sweden. Hivportalen is operated by Swedish Institute for Communicable Disease Control (Smittskyddsinstitutet, SMI) in collaboration with the National Council for Coordination of HIV Prevention (Nationella Hivrådet).
About Hivportalen
Hivportalen provides facts on knowledge development and practical work concerning information about Hiv, STI and sexual health. The portal contains links to state authorities, municipalities, county councils and county administrative boards, as well as voluntary organisations and universities. They are all responsible for their own information. This means that the portal does not include activities or subjects about which there is no information available on the Internet.
